This thread is for people who don't know how to link their Guildwork account with their FFXI LS Community account. You cannot see the entire site if you are a member of the LS that doesn't have their account linked.

First, goto the FFXI LS Community Website and log in. You will need to know your PlayOnline ID AND your PLAY ONLINE Password, not your SE password!!

Second, select the your character and etc and register to the Perseverance linkshell. If you have a pearl to the shell then you should be able to pick the Perse linkshell.

Third, goto the member profile editor by clicking your name in the LS roster list and then scrolling down to where it says 'Member Profile Editor.' After doing this, find the area indicated below and remember it.


Fourth, open up a new page and goto your dashboard page on the Guildworks site. Login if you need to. On the side menu of the dashboard page you'll see 'Characters.' Click it and then find where it will let you add a character to your account as shown below.


Fifth, complete the information the form wants including what game, LS name (type ls name and then press enter right after btw) and etc. Then it will give you a code to put in a text box in the FFXI LS Community website before confirming your character's account. Copy and paste that code into the area that was pointed to in the third step and update your member profile. ALSO make all your jobs/crafts/etc be DISPLAYED TO THE PUBLIC.

Sixth, once you've updated your FFXI LS Community member profile with the code. Go back to the GW form and continue on with the form by pressing ok or save or confirm whichever it is.. and there you go.. you have successfully linked your FFXI character's account with GW.
