After SAO is finally over, everyone is finally able to relax and just enjoy playing their favorite games and MMORPGs. But out of nowhere, Kirito is asked to meet with a government agent who had previously investigated SAO. Kirito was then informed of a man seemingly killing players in the real world, by shooting them in a game. Then Kirito decides to investigate this. He enters the game Gun Gale Online (GGO for short), as usual, he befriends another player in GGO. Then secrets they're searching for fall right at their feet. The continuation of Sword Art Online. This continuation focuses on the Gun Gale Online arc, otherwise known as GGO. Kirito receives a call from a government worker who wants Kirito to investigate a player named Death Gun. This player appears to have the ability to kill players in real life, by simply shooting them in game. First part of the season (up until episode 15) is pretty decent. Kirito is invited to play in an other game called Gun Gale Online GGO because something strange is happening. Player killed in this game by one specific character dies from heart attack in real life as well. Maybe it's only a coincidence, but further investigation is much needed. After entering a game Kirito meets a player-sniper Sinon, who participates in this game due to her own reasons. I really recommend watching is part of the season. It definitely is not as good as the first season of SAO, but i found it enjoyable. I found plots twist pretty interesting and the fact that Kirito suffers from SAO experience to be a nice touch to this season.<br/><br/>The most annoying thing in this season was reminiscent of events which happen earlier. 'OK, i saw it, i remember it, there is no net to waste tame and show the same things in every episode!'. Maybe if those events weren't shown so boldly but with a hint of subtlety it wouldn't be so annoying.<br/><br/>All in all, I'm giving it a 6,5 ->7<br/><br/>BUT. There is a second part of he seasons. Which i hated, found boring and don't even want to talk about it. In order to escape the world of Sword Art Online, players must clear all 100 floors an defeat the final boss. An anti-social gamer by the screen name of Kirito will see if he's got what it takes to survive in this death game. Along the way he will encounter many colorful characters, each of them sparkling with a unique personality. The sword fights in this show are very well done and keep you on the edge of your seat. This show has some very touching moments that will bring you to tears. There are some dark moments and some comedy thrown in here and there along the way. The euphemisms in this show are also quite witty. The show also does a good job portraying the online gaming community. There is also some age verity among the characters so it's not all "kids save the world" stuff. However the main character, Kirito is in his early teens but unlike Ash Ketchum will age as the series progresses.<br/><br/>The character development in this show is some of the best I have seen. I love every character as they all have certain quirks and flaws that make them seem more human. Kirito's reserved personality will often make the show focused mainly on him for awhile with reoccurring characters showing up now and then. The variety of characters makes the show entertaining even in regular conversations among characters as we see their personalities interact with each other making them seem more human. <br/><br/>This series is a must watch even if you have never tried anime before. I know lots of people who aren't in to anime but love SAO. If your look for a good show to watch this is defiantly my recommendation. <br/><br/>( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
